Key Historical Figures

There were many key historical figures within New Zealand society who  influenced New Zealand society because of their beliefs that war was wrong, for different reasons. These men and woman held different views and reasons to refuse compulsory military training, and therefore became some of the more recognisable conscientious objectors within New Zealand.
